This past Saturday, Water 4 Mercy was honored to be one of the vendor sponsors at the Eucharistic Encounter, one of the largest Catholic gatherings in Florida!

The event drew in more than 12,000 people, all gathered at the Benchmark Arena in Tampa. Together, they shared a day of worship, faith formation, and renewal. The Eucharistic Encounter is part of the National Eucharistic Revival, with a theme of hope, healing, and mission, a message deeply aligned with Water 4 Mercy’s mission of bringing life-giving water and sustainable solutions to communities in need.
Thousands of attendees stopped by our booth to learn more about the transformative work that Water 4 Mercy is doing across Africa. It was inspiring to see so many people open their hearts to how clean water, agriculture, and education can create lasting change.

One of our volunteers, Denise Mercado, author of Stations of the Eucharist, shared her reflection after the event:
“Being in Mass and Adoration with 12,000 people was very touching... Jesus was truly present to each of us individually and collectively.”
Her words capture the spirit of the day faith alive in community, and God’s presence felt both personally and together!

The Eucharistic Encounter was a testament to the power of faith and community. We are grateful to have been part of such a vibrant, Spirit-filled day, and to share how Water 4 Mercy’s mission brings hope and renewal in a very tangible way.
